The main purpose of the association is to lobby the Company on behalf of members to resolve pension issues. Apart from that we monitor pension legislation and developments, maintain contact with similar organisations and keep members informed via this site and a bi-annual newsletter.

What we do

Joining the Association

How to join

If you are or have been employed by Gulf, Texaco, Caltex, or Chevron and receive or will receive a Chevron pension in the UK, or you are a surviving spouse, you are eligible to join the Association.

We invite any Gulf, Texaco, Caltex UK, Caltex Overseas, or Chevron employee or ex employee or spouse of any of the former interested in the issues and topics we focus our efforts on to join. The more members we have the louder our voice.

The UK Retiree Welfare Programme presently has some 2500 members - 1250 in the North (John Searle) and 1250 in the South (John Donaldson). More than 1300 pensioners have not yet signed the data protection form and are thus missing out. The Chevron UK Retiree Welfare Programme is only for past employees and their spouses who worked in the UK for one of the companies and still reside in the UK.

Retiree News

The editor of this quarterly bulletin is Mrs June Parham McCullough who can be contacted at jandm-mccullough@tiscali.co.uk or by phone at 02085497660. FYI June can't put the Gulf logo on Retiree News because the company no longer own's it.

I'll drink to that!!

Don't forget if you, or any company pensioner you know, is celebrating a special wedding anniversary this year, Golden or Diamond, then the company, through the UK Retiree Welfare Programme will supply flowers and champagne or a gift. But there is NO information on file, unless you have recently supplied it, about wedding anniversaries so this is one of those occassions when - IF YOU DON'T ASK YOU DON'T GET.

So let us, or your LCP know and you won't miss out.
